QIAO QIAO DIY UV Resin Hard Thick Viscosity
This is the UV Resin that I’ve personally suggested for close to 8 years now for figurative sculpture, BJD, and OOAK Art Doll resin eye making. This particular formula has a thick viscosity which is better suited for doming resin eyes. Cures with UV and/or UV-LED Light. It does cure with sunlight as well.
Sold in 25g bottles, perfect size to create many resin eyes, and still keep a fresh product. Place a small amount of this resin into one of my UV Resin Storage Jars and let sit for 24 hours to help eliminate bubbles prior to use.
This product is manufactured in China, but also has English instructions on the label. This particular formula is known for it’s anti-yellowing properties and scratch resistance when properly and fully cured.
Please note: Although many artists will bake resin eyes with their polymer clay projects (including myself), it is something that should only be done with extreme caution. Some plastics can produce toxic fumes if heated too high or burned. If you choose to do this, it is at your own sole discretion and risk. Always use resin products in well-ventilated spaces and with proper skin and eye protection. If sanding or drilling once cured, always wear appropriate mask to protect lungs from airborne particles and dust. Manufacturer's MSDS can be found below.
