Magnetic vs. Non Magnetic
If you would like me to make your eyes magnetic, please select this from the menu. I will install a small lightweight magnet inside the eye chips and include a set of standard 6mm flat magnetic disks for you to insert into your eye mechanism. Use a tiny bit of tac to insert the magnets into your eye mech. They must be completely flat and flush against the bottom or it will inhibit the proper fit of the eye chips. Take care to check which side of the magnets should be face up so that it will attract the eye chips.

These 14mm Eye Chips can be ordered in either Magnetic or Non-Magnetic Resin. They are created using 3D eye chip supports that fit standard DBS Icy Doll eye mechanisms and Blythe eye mechanisms. Slight micro adjustments can be made with a simple nail file if needed to perfect “fit”. Eyes are always tested before shipping to ensure best quality.
These are NOT made with the use of any mold. Lenses (domes) are slightly higher than glass cabochons, but should easily clear lids on most dolls. They are hand textured/sculpted, painted, and embellished. They are professionally sealed to ensure a quality set of eyes that should last a very long time with proper care and handling.
Please be aware that no two eyes will be exact matches, they are not printed or mass produced. Each eye is created by hand in my in-home studio. Tiny flaws are to be expected, but are never too apparent, or take away from their overall aesthetic quality or value.
Please contact me for my current timeframe as I can get backed up from time to time. These are MADE TO ORDER, please allow upwards of 2-4 weeks for completion during certain times of year.
SHIPPING AND PROCESS:
🖤 Custom eyes are made to order and are NOT ready to ship, they will require you to wait up to 2-4 weeks to ship depending on your order size and place in line. Please DO NOT place a custom order unless you are willing and able to wait, I cannot do rush orders on custom eyes.
🖤 I will do my best to create a set of eyes using your key words and description, but cannot do "edits" during the creation process, or after the eyes are complete. You must be willing to accept my best effort to reach your satisfaction.
🖤 You must allow for tiny flaws and imperfections as these are handmade, not mass produced or manufactured. Flaws include, but are not limited to, micro-bubble, tiny dust particles or slight differences in dome shape/height. I will never try and pass off anything more than "barely noticeable" to my customers. If I make a genuine mistake, trust me, I'll fix it - it's a Virgo thing 😉
🖤 You fully acknowledge that ALL resin art requires special handling and display to protect quality and prolong life. All resin (regardless of brand or type) eventually can, over time, slightly discolor, but can be accelerated by exposure to sunlight, oil transfer from fingerprints, and/or other poor handling practices. With proper care and handling, resin eyes and art can last for many long years.
🖤 You can send reference photos along with your custom orders, but please know, I do not duplicate other artist's work. See my work on Instagram @virgosalchemy_art for other examples of different colors and styles. It is impossible to show/list all possibilities in a single listing.
🖤 I'm not familiar with all doll types or manufacturers, and do not create eyes to fit any one specific type of doll. I'm not responsible if eyes do not fit a particular doll. Sizes given are accurate, dome height is based off your order.
