What Makes My Eye Base Molds Different?

•Handmade with high-quality high flex platinum silicone
• Features matte surface to help with applying final gloss coatings
• Made under high pressure allowing for use in pressure pot casting
• 24 individual cavities to allow bulk casting
• Concave iris area allowing for both clay and/or digital print designs

Process & Production Time

• Production time is 7-10 business days, although I often ship sooner than this. (varies throughout the year)
• Molds are cured for 8 hours under high pressure, inspected, oiled, and packed for shipping.

How to Use

These molds are made with a transparent silicone and therefore you can use UV Resin or 2 Part Epoxy Resin for casting. You can also use polymer clay with these molds, but it is suggested that you do a light bake at lower temperature, demold, and then finish baking casts at higher clay curing temperatures separately to prolong life of mold. Do not overheat molds or place them directly on or near any heating elements or metal surfaces. Silicones can withstand temperatures up to 300F, but I suggest not exceeding 230F to prolong life. DO NOT OVERHEAT OR BURN RESIN, CLAY, OR SILICONE! See more in my FAQ section To prolong life, keep molds clean and well oiled/conditioned between use. When using with resin, avoid using too much pigment, as this can damage molds and inhibit resin from curing.
