For the past eight years, I’ve been dedicated to the art of resin doll eye making. From designing some of the very first silicone eye molds for small-scale figurative art doll artists to perfecting my own eye-making techniques, my journey has been one of creativity and innovation.
Along the way, I’ve had the joy of sharing my knowledge, techniques, and discoveries with fellow artists and friends in the Art Doll Community. This blog is a space where I continue that passion—offering insights, tutorials, and resources to help bring your doll-making visions to life.
For many years I was a caretaker for my 100% disabled World War II Veteran Father. He sadly passed away shortly before the COVID pandemic hit. Just within a few months, I also tragically lost my beautiful sister and only sibling, as well as my Grandmother. Three major losses, literally back to back during one of the most depressing and stressful times in US History. It was devastating.
We had just left Florida and moved to Colorado, living at nearly 9k ft in altitude in the Rocky Mountains. During those 8 years I did a lot of soul searching, healing, reconciling, and manifesting. I began homeschooling our youngest son, who I would later find out is on the Spectrum, so I dedicated my time to family, and immersed myself in my art. This not only was a wonderful coping mechanism, it also helped me develop skills and find new talents that I didn’t even know I had locked inside. I put my education, career, and other goals on the backburner, knowing that one day, I’d be ready to go at it again.

It was ALL worth it
My love for this extremely niche form of art (resin eye making) helped me keep my sanity. I don’t think many know how much time and dedication it takes to research, source materials, and experiment to achieve the best results – but it’s a LOT of work!
I had tinkered around with Etsy back in 2015, but didn’t really start doing much with it until the past couple years when we moved here to Texas. However, after seeing several concerning things start taking place on Etsy, I decided to focus more on my own website. I will always support owning and operating your own website; it’s never a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket. You never know when things will change, and the last thing you want is to lose all your vested time, interest, and hard work, simply because you gave it all to a marketplace you have no control over.
I’ve really loved using Squarespace, even though they could for sure use better customer service and support at times. I still highly suggest anyone who is wanting to run a eCommerce business to give them a shot. Depending on the amount of sales, it can save you a ton of money in fees versus selling on Etsy alone, and plus you’ll OWN your own website, content, and have way more control. It’s Peace of Mind 101.
I Want to Say Thank You!

I greatly appreciate all the love, support, and business my customers have brought to me too – there are just no words to express my gratitude, and I’m so thankful I’ve been able to help so many of you with your own resin doll eye making challenges.
I don’t think very many understand how important the eyes are of a sculpture or a doll. They are what bring life to them, and sets them apart. You can always tell the quality and professional skill of a doll artist by looking at the eyes – I’m telling you, that’s where the magic is!
Big Announcement!

Drum Roll Please….
This all is leading up to this official announcement:
My website will be going through some BIG changes for 2025. I’m planning to END the “retail supplies” aspect of my business and focus again on making my own Artwork, Custom Dolls, Resin Eyes, Etc. I just will not be continuing to sell 3rd party molds or supplies from other manufacturers (resin, pigments etc.)
I may reintroduce certain supply items in the future, but at this time, I’ll be listing inventory close-outs on Etsy on these items and revamping my website and Etsy to focus more on my own Creative Works and my new affiliate business model and blog.
Never Fear!!
You will STILL be able to find the supplies you have come to know and trust from my YouTube tutorials and past purchases! I can continue to help eye maker’s and DIY customers source supplies and manufacturer’s through the use of direct links and referrals as an affiliate, while reducing my personal overhead and massive amounts of time it takes to handle inventory, international imports, etc.
Please keep an “eye” out for when I start accepting new Resin Eye Orders! 👁️❤️ And don’t miss out on my upcoming inventory close-outs!! Yay!

On a more personal note, I’m going back to school to finish my degree and looking to explore some more personal career goals this year while I continue my Creative Journey as my “Balance” ❤️
My Blog, Instagram, and YouTube Channel will continue to be a source for tutorials, product reviews, and sharing all that I’ll be able to do once I return my focus back to Creating and Sharing new projects and ideas 😊 So please follow and subscribe so we can stay connected 🥂👁️

Back to Work!
It is my goal to start creating my own custom dolls and artwork again, so I will still be selling my work when available, and I will continue to share with you here on my new Blog, YouTube, and Social Media with tutorials and other fun stuff with my new Creative Time!
I hope you all have an AMAZING New Year, and thank you SO MUCH for your business, support, and AWESOME 5 Star Reviews!! You are the BEST!!!
All my Love,
-K 👁️
