I went on the hunt for the best magnets for magnetizing Blythe eye chips, and found an amazing supplier, with the perfect size magnets for the job!
I originally attempted to use some of the magnets available on Amazon, but unfortunately, I could not find a supplier offering the super thin magnets, 0.5mm thickness.
1mm thickness is too thick in my opinion. The thicker the magnet, the heavier the eye chip will be, and depending on the design you are going for, could even interfere with how well you can execute your design.
I’ve purchased these from this supplier off AliExpress, and have been VERY pleased with not only the quality, but also their shipping speed.
These are 6mm wide and 0.5mm thick, SUPER strong, and perfect for magnetizing Blythe Eye Chips!
If you prefer something slightly smaller width, try these 5mmx0.5mm!

Install these tiny magnets using small amounts of sticky tack inside the eye mechanism, and then embed the secondary magnets inside your eye chips. This can work with both 3D eye chips and Glass eye chips!
